1. What We Do
HKBN provides professional installation assistance for OpenClaw. We are not the developers and do not control the software’s behaviour or any third-party “skills” you add.
2. Experimental Open-Source Software
OpenClaw is an experimental AI agent that can act autonomously. It may:
- Run commands independently
- Access, modify, or delete your files
- Connect to external services using your credentials
- Continue operating after you try to stop it
You accept these risks by proceeding.
3. Financial Risk
OpenClaw may consume API credits, incur cloud charges, or trigger transactions without your knowledge. You are responsible for all costs incurred.
4. Data Exposure
Broad system access creates inherent risks:
- Third-party “skills” may access your API keys or passwords
- Personal or business data could be exposed
- The software may contain unknown security flaws
You are responsible for protecting your data and credentials.
5. No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- HKBN is not liable for anything OpenClaw does, fails to do, or causes
- HKBN is not liable for data loss, financial loss, security breaches, or damages
- If OpenClaw damages your system or deletes files, you alone bear the losses
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Back up all important data before installation
- Secure your own API keys and credentials
- Monitor the software’s activity and costs
- Not hold HKBN responsible for any problems arising
