As Hong Kong faces increasingly frequent cybersecurity incidents, there is an urgent need to enhance the capability of critical infrastructure to withstand cyberattacks. The Hong Kong SAR Government will officially implement the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (Computer Systems) Ordinance on 1 January 2026. This legislation establishes a statutory regulatory framework to mandate Critical Infrastructure Operators (CIOs) in safeguarding their computer systems, thereby enhancing Hong Kong’s overall cybersecurity posture.
Workshop Highlights:
Co-organized with TriTech Distribution, industry experts will:
- Introduce the core responsibilities of Critical Infrastructure Operators (CIOs)
- Share actionable Strategies for CIOs
- Conduct a free hands-on workshop (Participants must bring their own laptops. A Certificate of Accomplishment will be awarded to participants who have completed the workshop.)
